Looms of Anatolia was established by Ismet John, featuring as wholesale of carpets, rug restoration, and interior design fixtures.

Ismet John's education in the oriental carpet business began at the very young age when he would visit his father’s rug stores. After opening his own store in Istanbul, he developed a strong and growing customer base in the US which led him to make several trips to the USA to expand his contacts, meet rug dealers here and observe the marketplace firsthand.

As the 3rd generation in his field, Ismet maintains his roots in his highly service-oriented retail division, offering a great selection and outstanding service with thousands of rugs on hand in his warehouse.
